About Gluttony

Arts venue hub Gluttony is a favourite destination for Adelaide Fringe. Popping up annually in Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka, arranged around a picturesque lake in the city’s leafy east parklands, Gluttony has cultivated a reputation as a feast for the senses for lovers of the arts, food and wine.

Since 2011, thousands of artists have passed through Gluttony's gates to perform on its stages during Adelaide Fringe seasons, from local up-and-comers and cult-following fringe faves to national TV stars and globally renowned acts.

At Gluttony’s events you can expect an overall festival experience, bringing together the best in performances, hospitality and atmosphere. Delicious food vendors, welcoming bars and attractive spaces within Gluttony’s parkland setting complement the ticketed shows, creating a relaxed and inclusive yet festive vibe. Gluttony is thrilled to be the biggest 'festival within a festival' at Adelaide Fringe and known for creating magical experiences for audiences and artists.

A proudly South Australian business, the Gluttony team enjoys presenting events and providing event services to other festivals beyond Adelaide Fringe, and even outside the Festival State of SA. From New Year's Eve celebrations for the whole community and cosy suburban winter hubs, to springtime food markets (like Lucky Dumpling Market) and parkland dance parties, we know and love events. In addition to the 200+ fabulous Fringe acts performing within Gluttony, you’ll find multiple food markets across the park, home to 25+ vendors serving a diverse range of delicious cuisines to feed the whole family, plus two table-service restaurants, welcoming reservations.

Gluttony makes it easy to stroll, sit and sip between shows, with more than a dozen bars serving fine wines, local beer and top-shelf spirits, as well as the iconic Champagne Island at the heart of Rymill Park Lake. Gluttony first popped up in Murlawirrapurka / Rymill Park as a food and wine weekend during Adelaide Fringe 2010, and the name has since stuck. It still fits though... as well as being a creative feast for the senses, Gluttony has an expansive food and bar offering.
